AI-Powered Browser Automation
I've been working on a Chrome extension that uses AI to create and schedule browser based tasks. The kind of things you might want to automate but never quite get around to:
- Tracking product prices across different sites
- Watching site metrics and analytics
- Picking up new blog posts that match your interests
- Monitoring listings or business updates that fit your criteria
How It Works
Under the hood, the extension builds structured tasks based on your natural language prompts, then runs them on a schedule directly within your browser. No need to set up complex automation workflows or write scripts.
You simply describe what you want to track or monitor, and the AI figures out how to structure that into a repeatable task.
Demo Highlights
I put together a quick demo showing two use cases:
- Simple price tracking - Set up a task to monitor a product price and get notified of changes
- Complex content monitoring - Watch Reddit posts for specific topics and have the AI propose relevant responses
It's still early days, but it's already proving super useful for me. The more I use it, the more use cases I discover.
